SILO team took part in one of the most important power engineering conferences in Germany.

The “Kraftwerkstechnisches Kolloquium” took place in Dresden, where it has been organized for over 45 years by the Institute for Process Engineering and Environmental Technology

This event has now developed into a scientific-technical conference with a strong share from the power industry and it attracts almost 800 participants every year.

SILO optimizer was described it the presentation paper “Diagnose, Optimierung und Regelung der Feuerlage mithilfe der akustischen Gastemperaturmessung - Feuerungsbetrieb und SNCR”, created by Manfred Deuster, Krzysztof Szczepanek and Łukasz Śladewski. The paper concerned description of a novel method and results of the combustion process optimization with the use of algorithm of fireball shape control. It was based on the actual implementation results of SILO integrated with DCS and AGAM system.
